'The Mike Douglas Show' is an American talk show running from 1961-1982, hosted by Mike Douglas. This episode broadcast on 20 February 1976, was a special promotion for the upcoming 'That's Entertainment, Part II' (1976). In this episode, Mike talks to Saul Chaplin, Dan Melnick, Hermes Pan, as well as MGM stars Fred Astaire, Nanette Fabray, Gene Kelly, Ann Miller, Janis Paige, Jane Powell and Debbie Reynolds on SoundStage 27. Worth watching to see the MGM greats in their older age. The highlight guest for me was Ann Miller, who I absolutely adore. Watch Part I:

The featurette opens with some background on Bette Davis and Errol Flynn's mutual dislike for each other. This is followed by an introduction to the supporting cast Olivia de Havilland, Alan Hale, Donald Crisp and Nanette Fabray. We are also treated to a short segment of Nanette Fabray telling stories of working with Bette Davis and Errol Flynn. It is a shame Olivia de Havilland (also still alive when this was made) did not appear.
