The film begins early during the war of 1812, American Captain James Marshall (played by Stevens) is commissioned to run a British blockade and fetch an unofficial war loan from France. Closing remarks
Not much I can say about this film. Very average adventure on the high seas with Lansbury as gold digging seductress. Nothing special and thankfully only runs for 76 minutes.
